Kinsey's estimates of prostitution "use" were a little off. Apparently only 1% of the American male population are frequent fliers rather than his estimate of over 50%. But, conversely, psychologists do not consider it a pathology because these men are "normal" ... with a percentage of high income earners joining the club. The APA only suggests pathology when an activity interferes with normal functioning. For married men, isn't having a healthy marriage a part of normal functioning?
